The role: Project Director

As Project Director, your primary responsibility will be to lead your team in the execution of EPCI projects across multiple locations. Reporting to the CEO, you will work closely with your team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and with an emphasis on safety and quality performance.

Some of your key duties will include managing project profitability, internal engineering deliverables and vendor selection, as well as steering contract management throughout the execution phase. You will also be responsible for selecting and managing key project subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring construction, commissioning and handover performance, and building strong customer relationships.

Leading the project team in both the Netherlands and abroad, you will also champion QHSE throughout the project value chain. As EPCI projects require you to be stationed close to our clients, therefore, you will be stationed abroad for 30-50% of the time.

Overall, this exciting role requires a motivated and resourceful Project Director with strong communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and experience in international project management.

Your profile

  • Engineering and/or technical background
  • University degree required
  • 15 years of experience in a project minded environment
  • Self-starter
  • Result orientied and resilient when required
  • Proven (international) EPCI project management experience is a must
