The role: Group Controller

You are a member of the Finance team, where you are responsible for managing and supervising the employees of the financial administration and the organization of the process of the (consolidated) financial statements, including preparations of the audit-file. In addition, you have an important role in the planning and control cycle by preparing annual budgets and reporting about these in monthly reports. Your responsibilities also include the financial management of various smaller entities and participations around the world and improving the predictability of project results.
You will perform analyses and, based on the reports and other financial data, provide advice in the area of finance, cost management and profit optimization. Furthermore, you are involved in process improvements and efficiencies in both internal processes and financial applications. During this job, you also act as a contact person for external stakeholders such as the auditors, tax authorities, and insurers.

Your profile

  • A completed university education in the field of Accountancy, Economics or related field.
  • Demonstrable work experience as a Financial in a project environment.
  • Proper command of the Dutch and English languages, both oral and written.
  • Affinity with IT.
  • Enterprising and curious.
  • Effective in creating support in an organization in motion.
  • Pragmatic, analytical, systematic and proactive.
  • Potential to lead and supervise a team.
