The role: QHSE Manager

Your main objective is to ensure safe and qualitative operations for our horticultural projects.

You will report directly to the CEO. More specifically you will improve the Safety and Quality plans of Van der Hoeven. Take lead in project preparation of specific procedures and instructions as required in cooperation with Project Manager. Coordinate with Project Managers on QHSE project performance. Execute project site inspections communicate with the organization about quality, health and safety matters. Manage the QHSE team. Liaise with Van der Hoeven Management Team on company QHSE performance and development.

Your profile

  • You are a self-starter, result oriented and resilient when required.
  • Proven project QHSE skills is a must.
  • You lead by example and are committed to project result.
  • Skills required; Experience in leading a QHSE team
  • 5 years of relevant experience in construction management
  • HBO education in relevant safety field
  • Experience in horticulture is a pre
  • A candid team player who collaborates with colleagues to solve problems
  • Willingness to travel to projects (globally) when deemed required

We do this every month through our internal newsletter, the Doorbraak, supplemented by the quarterly meetings. Where the entire company comes together over a drink and a snack, while management tells us what is going on at that moment.
