This includes several transport documents. You have many contacts with suppliers, carriers and customs, and internally you keep your colleagues informed of the transport planning. Each country has different laws and regulations regarding the document flow, this ensures a lot of variety in your work. It’s important that you have a good command of the Dutch and English language, in word and in writing, and that you work precisely.

At Van der Hoeven & Enthoven-Patron we find it important to be there for each other as a team. We help and support each other in our work, teach each other things about our work and from our experiences. In this way, we strive for success together, time and again.

We invest in the future of our employees. With VDH Academies, an internal knowledge-sharing platform, colleagues learn from each other about their work, and external tailor-made training courses are supported if possible. In addition to knowledge, we like to invest in the well-being of our employees. We do this physically, through the weekly boot camp and the free fruit we offer, but also through fun. We have an active staff association with a well-filled activities agenda, which provides, for example, a drink or barbecue at the office or something fun for the children at Christmas. In addition, there is plenty of room in the office for sociability and a game of pool, and of course departmental outings are organised.

We find it important to inform employees about the state of affairs of the company and what we are working towards. We do this every month through our internal newsletter, the Doorbraak, supplemented by the quarterly meetings. Where the entire company comes together over a drink and a snack, while management tells us what is going on at that moment.
