In the meantime the company has been taken over, but that same sense of loyalty and togetherness has remained unaltered. Employees feel a deep sense of commitment and loyalty to the company: employees with many years of service at the company are no exception. The freedom they are given to make their own decisions is one of the reasons people find working at Van der Hoeven so attractive. All the more so as J.M. van der Hoeven has expanded along with the expansion experienced globally by the horticultural sector. The company is active on the global playing field, which makes it even more interesting as an employer.

Short lines
Within the organisation a good balance has been struck between the management and the operational  departments. The communication lines between the various departments are short. The functional elements essential to the success of projects - the greenhouse and heating - are not contracted out. Van der Hoeven still produces various parts for greenhouses itself. The benefits this offers are even greater today. In-house production means the company responds more alertly, so that the projects can still be completed on time even if there is a tight planning schedule. The quality assurance is also of a higher level if production is in our hands. With design and production supporting our service provision, we are also a company that boasts high levels of technical expertise. And we can advise you if you require specific expertise relating to safety and food safety. It is not just a coincidence that the name Van der Hoeven is often synonymous with complex projects!
